How are graded cards authenticated?

Every graded card we sell is authenticated and encapsulated by a recognised third-party grading company: PSA, BGS (Beckett), CGC, SGC, ACE or TAG.

Each listing shows the grading company, the numeric grade, and the certification number printed on the slab label. That certification number links directly to the grader's own public verification database, so you can confirm the card independently before you buy — and again when it arrives.

We never break a slab open, re-holder a card, or list a card as graded unless it is in its original sealed holder.

Raw card conditions explained

Accepted Answer

Mint — indistinguishable from a card fresh out of a pack. Perfect edges, corners and surface.

Near Mint — may show a single minor flaw visible only under close inspection. No creases, no significant whitening.

Lightly Played — light edge wear or minor surface scuffing. Still perfectly presentable in a sleeve.

Moderately Played — noticeable wear: rounded corners, reverse whitening, possibly light scratching. Structurally sound.

Heavily Played — significant wear, and possibly a light crease. Priced accordingly.

Damaged — creasing, water damage or tearing. Always clearly disclosed and photographed.

Every raw single is photographed as the exact card you will receive — no stock photography.

Question 3

How do you pack and ship cards?

Raw singles are packed in a penny sleeve, then a toploader or semi-rigid holder, then a bubble-lined rigid mailer.

Graded slabs are wrapped, corner-protected, and boxed with void fill so the holder cannot move in transit.

All UK orders ship with Royal Mail tracking as standard. Orders over £250 must ship via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is fully insured and signed-for — we cover the difference in cost on the highest-value orders.

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day.

Question 4

Can I return an order?

Yes. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason at all.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. We will refund the full purchase price, including the standard delivery charge you originally paid, within 14 days of receiving the goods back.

Cards must be returned in the condition they were sent. Graded slabs must be returned in their original, unopened holder — a cracked slab cannot be refunded.

Question 5

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout and are never seen by, sent to, or stored on our servers.

All prices on the site are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Question 6

Do you buy collections?

Accepted Answer

We buy single cards, graded slabs and complete collections.

Send us a message through the contact form with clear photos of what you have — front and back for raw cards, and the slab label for anything graded. Include the set name and card number where you know them.

We aim to respond with an offer within two working days. If you accept, we cover fully-insured postage for the collection to reach us.
