Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
POKE'HUB LTD ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17396197, with a registered office at 16 Commerce Square, Lace Market, Nottingham, NG1 1HS.
What we collect
When you place an order — your name, email address, delivery address and phone number if you give one. We need these to take payment, send you the goods and meet our legal obligations.
When you create an account — your name, email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password itself.
When you contact us — your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
Automatically — a session cookie and a basket cookie, both strictly necessary for the site to function.
What we do not collect
We do not see, receive or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, who handle your card data directly under their own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.
Why we can use it
- To perform our contract with you — processing and delivering your order, handling returns.
- To meet a legal obligation — keeping records of sales for HMRC.
- With your consent — marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
- For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud, and answering your questions.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — to take payment.
- Royal Mail and other couriers — to deliver your parcel.
- Our email provider — to send order confirmations and replies.
- Our hosting and database providers — who store the data on our behalf.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Support messages are kept for two years.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Email support@pokehubltd.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
